Today, Upbit decided to end trading support for Aergo (AERGO). At the same time, Upbit decided to support the token swap of both Aergo (AERGO) and AlphaQuark (AQT) into HPP. We are doing our utmost to help AERGO and AQT holders transition smoothly to HPP.

Upbit's decision not to support HPP trading is disappointing news for the HPP community. That said, we are grateful to Upbit for respecting the integration of AERGO and AQT into HPP, decided by community vote in April 2025, and for choosing to support a token swap in the interest of investor protection.

HPP Withdrawal support ends: 2026-09-03 15:00 (KST)

You can safely convert your AERGO to HPP through either of the following:

1. Act before the deadline: withdraw your AERGO to a personal wallet and convert it to HPP through the official swap portal, or move it to another exchange that supports AERGO.
2. Automatic conversion on Upbit: if you leave your AERGO on Upbit without withdrawing, Upbit will convert it to HPP for you. After conversion, only HPP can be withdrawn, and withdrawals will be supported for 30 days from the point they resume. The exact swap and withdrawal schedule will be announced through Upbit's notices.

This decision concerns trading support on a single exchange, and it has no impact on the fundamentals of the project or the continuity of our business. The core team, accumulated technology, and enterprise customer base carried over from Aergo remain fully intact, and HPP continues forward as planned, undeterred. We will work closely with Upbit to ensure the conversion and all related processes proceed without any issues. This is a disappointing outcome, but we will do everything in our power to carry the project forward.
