HPP is tackling the transparency challenge in gift-in-kind (GIK) donations.

Partnering with technology provider BLOCKO and one of South Korea's largest child relief NGOs, HPP is building a blockchain-based GIK donation platform. Supported as the inaugural project of the HPP Ecosystem Grant Program, this initiative will use the HPP network for on-chain attestation and Real-World Asset (RWA) tracking of in-kind assets.

While gift-in-kind giving is a vital pillar of charitable support, tracking its lifecycle, from the initial asset transfer to final execution, has historically been difficult. Donors rarely see the ultimate impact of their contributions, making transparency a long-standing challenge in the philanthropic sector.

The new GIK platform bridges this gap. Donors will give through the same web experience they already use, while the underlying transfer, management, and execution data is recorded on HPP's attestation layer. The user experience stays the same, and only the parts that require trust are verified on-chain.

This is not just a proof-of-concept. The platform is being integrated directly into a major NGO's active GIK operations. It marks the first instance of HPP infrastructure managing actual assets and enforcing accountability within a live donation workflow.

"Trust is the most critical element of in-kind giving," noted a representative from the partner NGO. "By implementing a verifiable, blockchain-based system, we can show donors exactly how their assets are used, fostering much deeper trust over time."

HPP's contribution extends beyond funding. By providing the underlying on-chain infrastructure alongside the grant, the HPP network acts as the platform's core trust layer. Built on its identity as an AI-native L2, HPP is positioning blockchain as a foundational technology for verifiable trust.

HPP가 기술 파트너인 블로코(BLOCKO), 그리고 국내 최대 규모의 아동 구호 NGO와 협력하여 블록체인 기반의 현물기부(Gift-in-Kind, GIK) 플랫폼을 구축합니다. HPP 에코시스템 그랜트 프로그램(HPP Ecosystem Grant Program)의 첫 지원 사례인 이번 프로젝트를 통해, GIK 자산의 온체인 검증(Attestation)과 RWA(실물연계자산) 기반 추적 기능이 모두 HPP 네트워크상에서 구현될 예정입니다.

현물기부는 구호 활동의 핵심적인 축이지만, 기부된 자산이 이전되어 최종 집행되기까지의 과정을 추적하기 어렵다는 한계가 있었습니다. 후원자 입장에서는 기부 자산이 실제로 어디에, 어떻게 쓰였는지 파악하기 힘들어 투명성 확보는 기부 업계의 오랜 과제 중 하나였습니다.

새롭게 구축되는 현물기부 플랫폼은 바로 이러한 문제점을 해결합니다. 후원자는 기존과 동일하고 편리한 웹 환경에서 기부에 참여하지만, 그 이면의 자산 이전·관리·집행 내역은 HPP의 검증 레이어에 투명하게 기록되어 누구나 확인할 수 있습니다. 즉, 편리한 후원 경험은 그대로 유지하되 신뢰가 필수적인 영역만 블록체인으로 증명하는 구조입니다.

특히 이번 프로젝트는 단순한 기술 시연이나 데모에서 끝나지 않습니다. 실제 NGO의 실무 현장에 직접 도입되어 운용되는 것을 목표로 합니다. 이는 HPP 인프라가 실제 기부 현장에서 실물 자산을 다루고 투명성을 입증하는 첫 상용화 사례가 될 것입니다.

협력 NGO 관계자는 "현물기부는 후원자와의 신뢰가 무엇보다 중요한 영역"이라며, "블록체인 기반의 투명한 검증 체계를 통해 기부 자산의 활용 내역을 명확히 공개하고, 후원자와의 신뢰를 한층 더 견고히 다져나갈 것"이라고 밝혔습니다.

HPP는 단순한 그랜트 지원을 넘어, 플랫폼 구동에 필요한 핵심 온체인 인프라를 직접 제공합니다. HPP는 'AI-native L2'라는 고유의 정체성을 바탕으로, 신뢰 증명을 위한 핵심 기반 기술로 확장해 나갈 계획입니다.
